We recently had the privilege to work with Asia Pacific Cultural Center where we took our Free Food Truck to serve free, delicious, vegetarian food in the community.

The 8th annual Diwali: Lights of India is organized by Northwest SHARE, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization run by 100% volunteers. Northwest Share promotes arts, culture. education, health and humanities.

2020 Diwali: Lights of India

The 8th annual Diwali: Lights of India is organized by Northwest SHARE, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization run by 100% volunteers. Northwest Share promotes arts, culture. education, health and humanities.

This year’s virtual festival features music, dance, visual art, martial arts, a cooking demonstrations, and more. Diwali: Lights of India is part of the Virtual Festál 2020 series, supported through grants from 4Culture and ArtsFund.


Free Food Truck Program

Our free food truck program has been feeding the homeless in Seattle since 2018. Even in this pandemic, by following the social distancing rules and other safety measures, we continue to serve freshly cooked hot food to the homeless and hungry with love and respect.

Receiving grant from Redmond Kiwanis Club in support of our free food truck program

Thanks to Redmond Kiwanis Club for their grants to nwshare in support of the free food truck serving the Redmond community.


Pat Vache, Treasurer of the Redmond Kiwanis club remarked that he saw a great fit between the missions of the Kiwanis and Nwshare. He also thanked Nwshare for making our community better.

Latha Sambamurti,  a director on the board of Nwshare receiving the grant check for Nwshare food truck from the past president of Kiwanis club Sue Stewart and Lt. Governor of Kiwanis club Penny Arneson.
