Summer Food Fairs

Northwest SHARE partners with the organizers of public food fairs in the Seattle area by setting up booths for distributing high-quality vegetarian food at very low prices for promoting the health benefits of vegetarianism among the general public.

Last year, Northwest SHARE served the community through these programs:

U-District Street Fair

• Date: May 21-22, 2005
  Attended by 50,000 people
  Northwest SHARE served more than 500 plates of delicious vegetarian food.
  

Freemont Fair

• Date: June 18-19, 2005
  Attended by 80,000 people.
  Northwest SHARE served more than 800 plates of delicious vegetarian food.
  

Bellevue Street Fair

• Date: July 29-31, 2005
  Attended by 300,000 people
  Northwest SHARE served more than 400 plates of delicious vegetarian food.
  

Seattle HempFest

• Date: August 20-21, 2005
  Attended by 150,000 people
  Northwest SHARE served more than 1000 plates of delicious vegetarian food.
